MATCH POINT, the Summer '09 obligatory YamapixFuji drama circa 2007. Keywords include love, friendship and... basketball. I kinda see the HSM references now.

Yamapi plays a timid man who is full of justice and righteousness nonetheless (I'm guessing this isn't supposed to make any sense) and Keiko Kitagawa is a whip-wielding, fiery b-ball player. Or something. She also plays his love interest! SO WATCHING FOR KITAKEI. ♥

For those who don't know her, check out Yamapi's Corner of Many Vague Rumours. More importantly, she's a fellow Meiji alumni and a model to boot. Beauty and brains, guys. BEAUTY AND BRAINS. Check her blog, where she writes about her days in full sentences and paragraphs (none of those overly cutesy and random content you see for most Japanese female artistes), titles her blog entries in English, still looks gorgeous sans makeup, practices kendo and is generally adorable. She's also incredibly down-to-earth -- see her entries regarding her graduation from Meiji last month.

Oh, and Mizobata Junpei also stars. :Dv
